Ellie Vandenbrekel discovered her love of millinery in 2005 when she created her first hair pieces for herself and friends and the following years saw plenty of exploration of hats and fascinators and experimentation with techniques.

​Committed to always bettering her craft, she recently spent a year in the Katherine Elizabeth Millinery Academy and has undertaken additional courses to keep up with the skills required to create exciting and fashionable pieces.​

​

Besides designing brand new, custom pieces, she is also delighted to work with clients to incorporate much loved, antique and family heirlooms or dress lace and fabric, to create an item that is not only uniquely and perfectly matched to the occasion but something truly personal, to treasure for years to come.
